A handsome pine writing table from France c. 1880 having a single drawer in the middle of the apron.

A Louis XV style dark walnut writing table from France c. 1960 having five drawers that are all enhanced with substantial iron hardware.

A painted secretary base from Germany c. 1770. The beautiful carving on this piece reflects the wonderful exuberance of the Baroque and Rococo styles popularized during the eighteenth century. The two long drawers in the base each feature a pair of carved horizontal panels that are centred on the escutcheon (lock plate). The combination of scrolls and scalloped flourishes carved into the oak timber create a pleasing and balanced design.
